SALZBURG PHOTO DIARY

We did a 1 day trip to Salzburg since it's so close to Munich, just 2 hrs train journey apart. We were lucky enough to catch our train after all the rushes. However, we soon realised that the train we were on does not go directly to Salzburg because of the engineering work took place during weekend. Downsides is we can't sit back and relax for 2 hours. But the upside is we got to see more places while inter-changing buses and trains.
Luckily, the weather was so nice when we were there, it felt like summer! Salzburg is a small place which could be explored within a day. Almost everything are packed inside the Old Town. Since I was so eager to visit Berchtesgaden, we all took the bus from Salzburg to Berchesgaden. Sadly, all the attractions there are closed and we just took the train there headed back to Munich. Because of this, Berchtesgaden ranks high on my wish list and I'm definitely coming back!
