CHANEL FALL 2014 RTW

Well done Karl Lagerfeld (applauding while watching videos appeared on my instagram).

Such a brilliant idea to transform the runway into a supermarket. PLUS it's a Chanel supermarket that I believe all women on earth will definitely go grocery shopping more often and our life will never be the same. The shopping basket, the paper bags, the packaging, the products itself….you name it.

If one day Chanel supermarket/shopping as in you're doing grocery, not just ours (women's) life is altered, so does men's.

ISABEL MARANT FALL 2014 RTW

Not gonna lie, I'm a Marant-addict but honestly this isn't my favourite collection (sorry to all the Marant-lovers out there). Padded shoulder surely isn't my thing. Looks posted above are my favourite among the show. Oversized knit, plaid shirt, long coat and belted jacket - more like something I would wear every day to be effortlessly cool.

Stealing the idea here - belting you (slightly) oversized coat/jacket is the new black!

MANGO SPRING/SUMMER 2014 FASHION SHOW

Monochrome is dominating the show, together with appearances of earth tone and denims.
As a minimalist, I'm loving the simplicity here. Also, Mango didn't limit its fashion show to just a show, little details were added such as the little kids walking the runway, giving out huge lollipops to audiences. CUTE!

THE RETURN OF STAN SMITH

I'm sure each of you have had a big crush on Adidas at some point. Well, I did. When I was still in Hong Kong doing secondary school. I remember I was so desperate about the stan smith. I stepped into the one and only Adidas Original store in Hong Kong (there was only one in HK at the time, I think a few more opened in recent years) with my mum, rushed to the second floor and scanned the whole room with that pair of stan smith. 'It's sold out.' The sales lady said. I was let down. I should have known it would be sold out so quickly. I should have come earlier. Countless phrases started with 'I should have...' echoed in my head. 'But we have this style.' The sales woke me up while I was still blaming myself. It's the one with magic tape fastening. I quickly tried it on and I ended up carrying it home. (picture below.) BUT, moving houses a few times in the past years lead to wardrobe cleaning, and am not sure whether this beauty is still resting in my wardrobe safe and sound. Finger crossed!

Fortunately, the stan smith return! HOORAY! But I'm unfortunate enough to miss it again! I was so happy after placing my stan smith order online, expecting to put it on my feet the next day. 2 days later, I was told they actually don't have it for me after they have shipped my order (I ordered 2 pairs, one for me and one for Anthony). Now, I'm hoping miracle will happen that I could find one in my size :'(

IT'S DARIA WERBOWY AGAIN

From Celine to Isabel Marant, Mango to Isabel Marant pour H&M, you can spot Daria everywhere.
For 2014 Spring /Summer, you can find the campaign star in Balenciaga, Celine and Mango.

I'm loving the minimalism of this Balenciaga campaign, once again proved that black and white never fault it. My wish list? The heel on the second photo and the bag on the third photo!

STRAIGHT FROM THE FASHION SHOW

I know! Waiting for the items you want to get from the recent FW 13/14 shows is a pain. No worries, Moda Operandi is here for you to preorder straight from the unedited runway collections of the world's top designers months before they are available anywhere else.
Here are my favourite from 3.1 Phillip Lim:

The website will charge you half of the product price as a deposit, then the rest will be charged when the item is shipped to you.
There are a few more trunk shows on the website at the moment. Remember to buy them before the trunk show ends. Why are you still staring at here? Start shopping!!  xx
